Maxon's 1st Day of Kindergarten...and more.

Here are some pictures of the big day.  He was brave and happy and we are looking forward to a great school year!  Max is in afternoon kindergarten.  Not that I didn't miss him or anything, but I really felt like by the time I got home after dropping him off, I hardly had any time before I was picking him up again.  It is exciting to me that my oldest is starting school.  We are ready and I know it will be good for him to have some independence to add to his accomplishments.

And while the camera was out and we were enjoying a beautiful morning, I snapped some pictures of the rest of the family.

It is very hard to catch Evie standing still...but I got her!  I'm afraid Evelyn might not know what to do without Max around in the afternoons, but it will be a good time for her to have a little space and be herself.  They got along much better today after Max came home.

Jude is three months old and as sweet and mellow as ever.  He gives me lots of big smiles, coos, and laughs.  He rolls from his tummy and holds his head up well.  His favorite activity is taking baths.

Jude's naps are usually interrupted, but he sneaks them in when he can.  He tolerates his siblings well, but is starting to become more annoyed at their energetic love.  He is lucky that he has an older brother who adores him so much and I'm sure they will be great friends when Jude is a little older.

Jude sleeps at night.  Like, really sleeps.  Jason and I are blown away at the whole concept of babies who sleep.  Who knew?
The funny thing is, we haven't done anything different...it's just the baby/child.  I used to be in disbelief over babies who slept through the night at 3 months.  But mine does!!!
Jude is the peacemaker in our family.

He didn't want to have to do it...but here it is:
The Smolder!

hahaha "the smolder" reminds me of Tangled...where she has the prince all tied up or something like that...my memory is the worst...but do you know what I am talking about?

Carter goes all day to Kindergarten and it still goes by really fast. I thought I would have all this free time to save the world and accomplish things...naw...just doing the regular things I always did when Carter was in tow. But it has been great!!

Cute family! I love you guys! I want to see pictures of the inside of your house!!

Laura, you're funny. That's why I wrote that...because of Tangled.

I like Maxon's hair. I like Jason's hair. He looks really good. Could you maybe give him my number? No?

So Brandon made a really funny face, more snobby, and my boys exclaimed, "The smolder!!!"

Jude is so precious! I remember taking my oldest to Kindergarten for the first time. I was 100% good w/ it. Her little brother was HYSTERICAL. He wanted to sit and wait for her on the ground, wouldn't come inside but just cried. It was the cutest thing! Babies who sleep thru the night are such a blessing! My first was like that. 2nd not so much...he was an every 2-3 hour kind of kids. Who knows w/ #3. Sure makes life interesting though!

Avery starts all day kindergarten Monday! I can't believe she will be gone all day.

Your kids are adorable. Little Jude is just so cute!! Congrats on the sleeping baby :)

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of Jason with hair that long before! It looks good!
