Jude was sweet, as always. He looked huge when he was held up at the end! It was simple and beautiful. I'm so grateful for an amazing husband and a wonderful baby boy.

Jude's Blessing Photos
Jude was blessed on August 14, 2011. We were lucky he still fit into his outfit! It actually would have been huge on him otherwise...which is why waiting 3 months isn't such a bad idea. We didn't wait that long by choice, it is just the way it worked out with being away for the summer and all. It was a very low-key day and one of those times that makes us want to be closer to family. We were running late and were very close to not making it on time which made Jason in a not-so-inspired sort of mood. We had really just sat down when they turned the time over to us. No time to nurse or primp. (This was probably really beneficial in retrospect, because he most likely would have thrown-up all over. He has reflux, but I think it's improving.) The microphone kept going out. (Actually, I think it was dropped.)

That's Murphy's Law for you. He looks so handsome!! We all can't wait to meet him!!
I love these pictures. He's so cute. I think about calling you always..but I can never come up with a good time to call. If my kids aren't screaming, you're probably asleep...someday we'll speak again. :)
