So, here I am in Twin Falls, sitting at my parents computer- which is now mine, of course- since I am claiming most everything here is at least partly mine for the time being. I will be here until November. Just so you know, I have absolutely no pictures to post right now. Jason took our camera with him and our back-up CDs won't be here until my car arrives in 2 weeks...so until then...no pictures. In fact, if you are reading my blog right now- wow! Thank you!I commend you for you patience and loyalty.
Our life has been absolutely crazy so honestly, it wasn't until this very moment that I have had the chance to sit down and blog. And I have A LOT to update. I was just telling my mom I didn't even want to post at all because I don't even know where to start. Enough of this rambling...here I go.
We moved out of our house in South Carolina officially last Sunday. Jason had that last week off before he left and we had wanted to just have fun and relax as a family. We ended up doing a lot of packing, preparing, and cleaning instead...but at least we were together. Jason left on Sunday and, of course, it was terribly hard. The next couple of days, Max and I stayed in Savannah, GA until we flew out on Tuesday morning. Those two days were very lonely so it was good to come here and be greeted by Julie, Ethan, and Liam at the airport and then my mom, who had been in Cancun, came home that same night. Max is absolutely loving "Baba" (which is still his name for all 4 grandparents) and we are just getting everything situated here. Now that I'm here, it feels like Max and I just came to Twin for vacation so I don't think of Jason being deployed. I have an extremely idealistic mind, I guess you could say, I lack pretty much all realism...so it takes me a while to grasp reality. Which means that in a week or two, I'll realize Jason isn't joining us-- for 6 more months-- and then it will be really sad.
I am very glad that we decided to come back "home" especially because, just a little bit before Jason left, we found out that we are going to have another baby!!! We are so very excited and after about a day of shock after realizing the baby would be born before Jason comes home, we've come to accept all of the good things that this experience will bring. We will be by family and friends...most of whom didn't even see me pregnant last time or see Maxon until he was 5 months old. Plus, I'll have A LOT of help once the baby arrives and I'm in that wonderful post-partum period. We are especially grateful because it was so hard for us to get pregnant with Max and we were wondering if we'd have to go through all of that again...and we didn't! It's all absolutely wonderful and we are thilled! I do have an ultrasound picture that is a few weeks old...so I guess this post won't be pictureless after all.

I'm glad you and Max made it safely to Idaho. I'm sad we didn't get much of a chance to say good-bye. Life has been way too hectic for my liking!

So when are you due? Obviously before November..hmmm...let me venture a guess...August?
Well...wow. you have just been through a lot...and will continue to be so for quite a while. I love you my dear. You are a picture of strength. (oh and we have something in common...I often ask Josh things like "Why?" Or "how come I feel this way"..or how did I not realize it would turn out this way...and his repy is always "Because you are so idealistic"...so there ya go. Can't wait to come see you!
Congratulations, Carrie! That is wonderful news. As someone who's had the same struggle, I know how relieved you must be!
I'm happy for you that you'll be able to be with your family while Jason is away, and I hope that time will fly until you see him again.
Based on the way you write, I bet you're hot. I'd like to see you some time, what do you say?
That is the best news! Congrats on the pregnancy! What a wonderful blessing. Hopefully that will make time go by fast until Jason comes home to be with you three. We miss you. Hopefully we will take a trip to Twin this summer and we can see you guys.
Congrats Carrie!!! That is so great!! (Not that Jason is gone, but that you are expecting :)!!
When are you due?? I am so pumped that you're here....I think that Brayden would absolutely LOVE Max...they are so darn close in age. Maybe you'll have another boy and he'll be close to our second?? I know, wishful thinking. Anyway, congrats again and hopefully we get to see ya soon!
Carrie, Yay! My heart breaks for you and at the same time I'm so happy for you. It seems like someone knew you needed this to get you through the next few months until Jason is back. I think he'll be getting home about the same time my big brother does. I hope you're having fun with your family and I hope you're feeling alright.
Keep us updated on your progress, I love talking about pregnancy even though I HATE being pregnant.

Congratulations on you baby. You are a brave woman. I loved Jason's comment earlier-- these brothers are so alike, that is exactly what Lance would say. We'll be in Island Park/ Yellowstone July 7-11 in a condo. You and Max should come play for a day or two. We would love to see you guys.
Congratulations, Carrie! That's wonderful news about the new baby! I'm already looking forward to meeting him or her someday. I'm sure it'll be really nice to be near your family while Jason is gone. I'll be home at the end of June so I'd love to see you all then! Take care.

It was great to see you at the play the other night. I did not get a chance to ask how you are doing....but I just read your blog so I feel updated. You should come to Boise this summer and stay with Julie and we can get together.
