Memory Tag

I know a while back a had a disclaimer against things like this but I've just been reading all these memories on my dear friends' blogs and it's so fun! I have a horrible memory so I'm grateful for others who trigger my brain. So...I decided I would participate in this tag! Plus, I have a feeling people are getting bored with my blog...maybe this will help?!?

1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I (or Jason) had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. I can't wait to see what people remember.

I tag everyone!

Only a million cabillion wonderful memories!

So remember 4-bying(or however you spell that) and the whole Mark Fuller saga! ha! And Paul flipping me off in Shari's...good time, good times.

How about that time we went hot tubbing with Chad Rencher and Brad at the fitness center..was anyone else there...I remember we were the only girls but I was thinking maybe some other boys were there. I had to borrow a work-out outfit to swim in and I still remember you saying..."wow you have a skinny upper-body"...as opposed to my gigantic lower body;)I remember the boys saying they were going to spy while we were changing and that terrified me and I still wonder if they did! ah!

I remember riding back from Kimberly after spending time at the Hunt House...and you and me and Julie were singing at the top of our lungs to Brittany Spears..."I Can't Get No Satisfaction"

I still have a box with letters from you in it..and all the cute drawings you did..particularly very cute worms with great big eyes.

I remember you helping me make posters for my campaign and yours were the best and then you walked the stage for me during my speech and held a sign that said "VOTE LAURA"...you are awesome...I won just because of that.

I still have the picture you gave me for my birthday..The one of Christ with a little girl and a butterfly... I love it!

Karaoke in your basement

Your family being one of the first to get a DVD player, I didn't even know what a DVD was!

Remember when we were driving your mom's van and and group of guys pulled up next to us and honked and said "Nice Van" and you were acting all cool and said "Thanks"...that still cracks me up.

I remember you brought me a purple cup back from NYC

Purple. Plastic. Pants.

and lets throw in the cat costume as well.

I loved your handwriting and tried to copy it...especially how you wrote your e's and r's.

I remember going to church with you on Fast Sunday and acting like we were going to die from starvation and your dad made salmon it was the best thing either of us had ever eaten.

I remember you saying "Laura, I want you to see this really cute guy in my basement...and we went down there and low and behold Jason Lloyd was sitting in my favorite big chair...little did I know you were going to marry him!

Remember our Harry Potter presentation and the video we made! ha!....oh and how you and I tied for best actress for The Canterbury Tales! You were a great nun!

So this is super long...but I love remembering!!

I remember I totally adored you and still do. You are my favorite too!

I have way too many memories! Most of them involve wanting to BE you...dress like you, play the piano like you, have beautiful hair like you....never could get there! You were a great friend! I always noticed that if we shared anything you would give me the best half--so, so sweet you are!

I recall a time we went star gazing at that park just down the hill from the Logan Temple...we should do that again!

i remember you so sweet sharing your swim suit with me to swim at the smiths.

i remember a fake belly button ring you wore gave me the idea to do the same, and my mom freaking out.

i remember how i always wished i was as beautiful as you. and how we always seemed to buy the same clothes(you just looked better in them).

Okay, I've got to ask, what life lesson did I teach you and Julie??? I have a HORRIBLE memory and never remember anything, I swear. If it's embarrasing, email me at cheri_ross@msn.com, I've got to know!
Okay, memory, it's a sad one, but I was at your house after a certain tragedy happened, and I saw inside your closet. I was FLOORED. I've never seen so many clothes in my life! My parents were Nazis about giving me money, they made me pay for everything from insurance to school lunch, so I was sooo green with envy when I saw STACKS of jeans. I think my mouth still waters just thinking about it! Ha, I'm such a dork, I know.

Space Cadets in your white mini van. Having a sleep over at your house with Laura and Julie I think and telling our dirty secrets ;) Also...switching boyfriends? What? Crazy girls.

all those fun sleepovers we had! I stayed in Twin once and we went river rafting with your ward or something, skating/roller blading around the circle by your old house, playing don't touch the ground at grandma ann's house cuz there's nothing else to do there, playing red light green light, etc, etc.

- Sleeping in your room because our barbie world took up too much space in mine.

- Lip Smackers Club with Annie and Colleen

- Thinking we were really funny by putting Ryan's face on pictures of dogs and babies and stuff for his birtday card.

- Matching clothes!

-Sophie B. Hawkins music videos in white slips

- Our hot tub lid falling on you and giving you a black eye.

- Making up songs that made us cry.

- Singing real songs together at the piano.

- Walking home from the movie theater with Ashlee and Abby and stopping at 7-11 to break up the trek.

- You telling me that you had to have the deeper/warmer side on the bathtub because it had the faucet and you had longer hair.

- Sliding back and forth in the tub to get dry.

- You doing my hair (x 10000)

- Sneaking in your room in the morning before seminary to try to steal your clothes without waking you up.

- Hanging out with you and Jason in Disneyworld and getting sick on that stupid space ride.

- Seeing you come out of the temple with Jason looking happier than I had ever seen you.

- Calling us on Christmas to tell us the miracle that you were pregnant!

- Running up and down the beach in South Carolina to try to find the car keys. We asked that guy with the metal detector to keep an eye out.

- Crying just talking about Harry Potter #7 (and getting most of the rest of the fam to cry too!)

*These are just a few of the many, many memories I have with you over the last 22 years! I love you!

I LOVED singing with you. I was so excited when you asked me to sing back-up for you in "Material Girl!"

Mt. Borah was awesome. Not sure if I would want to do it again but we were champs for making it to the top...one of only 3 girls!!!

You Jive dancing with Joel.

Hanging out with you and Jason a few times while Shane and I were dating and after we got married. Who knew we would marry two guys that were like best friends in high school?!?? Too fun!!!

I have a lot of the same memories as Tracie. We were both reading Harry Potter #6 at the same time on the houseboat and I wanted us to be at the same part so I wasn't the only one crying. And crying at #7 with everyone, (we are such babies!)

I love when you and Jason came out of the temple and kissed and when you kissed at the alter. You two were the most passionate temple kissers I've ever seen! (It was your first kiss right?)

Hoping you were pregnant at Thanksgiving, hearing the news at Christmas.

When you called me after Max was born, but I didn't know he was born, and I was just talking about random stuff and said, "So how's it going?" and you were like "Well, I had my baby." and I felt like a loser!

Love you!

I don't know why this is the first thing that I thought of, but remember Sadie Hawkins our sophomore year? What a mess! I believe that Julie, Laura, Ashlee, Anna, Jenete, and Amy Conover were also in the same group. Now, was it your car that someone drove off that country road after our freezing water fight? I just remember thinking that you were the LAST person that should happen to!

In the end, the overall memory I have of you is your kindness. I never saw you treat anyone unkindly or say anything mean to or behind someone's back.

Carrie, Remember when you babysat Carson, Jack, Ellie, and Lucy for us in Sun Valley so Julie and I could ski. It was a very busy day for you with all the little ones. It was very nice of you. I still owe you one. You need to let me take Max sometime.
I love the piece Louise wrote about Max. It brough a tear to my eye. I hope you are doing well.
Love Bambi

Where do I start. You and Annie were my first friends in Twin. You guys took me right in and showed me around.

We had so many fun trips to the temple. And we would switch outfits afterward.

Ward activities. Remember when you hit me in the face with a broom playing broom hockey. That was awesome. I remember calling Jason eyelashes and we always said how cute he was. Sure enough you married him.

Sleep overs at Annie's.

Pulling a wagon with a bike with the Long kids. I am surprised we didn't hurt someone.

Checking out Grant. Then it turned out my mom married his dad. Ha.

Our double birthday parties.

Saying we would go to Utah State together. Then when you married Jason, we actually were there together.

Singing group.

Track.

Our girls camp photo shoots and large underwear shots. Your photo album you made for me when I moved to St. George.

You making me a body pillow cover and cd's for my labor with when I was about to pop with my twins. And bringing me white cheddar chezits, that I craved so bad.

Annie's wedding where we both took our sons as our dates.

I have so many memories with you in them. We had a lot of fun in the couple years I lived there and the times I came back to visit. Thanks for being my friend all these years.

Going to get TCBY yogurt after school..we also did that almost everyday for awhile!

You comforting me when Vaughn and Eric played that mean prank and didn't really ask me to prom.

Playing kiddie duets on your piano at Christmas.

Pretending I was tone deaf, and you trying to help me..hahah!

Borrowing all your clothes..sorry.

Wanting all of your clothes.

You doing my hair and makeup from everything from dances, choir nights, senior pictures, and my wedding day! All my pretty days I owe to you!

Wanting you to keep dating Brandon because he was just so cool! Glad you felt different! :)

Still wanting to play everyday at your house but those dang kids just get in the way.

I'm sure I'll think of some more later...til then, I love you!

Oh yeah, remember when we fasted for 24 hours and the last few hours we just laid on your bed and talked about food. You would have thought we hadn't eaten in weeks. We could barely walk down to the kitchen. So pathetic!

I remember playing barbies at hour house in second or third grade, you had fun barbie stuff. You were always so nice and fun to be around.

I remember after moving back to Twin Falls a bunch of us got together at Ashley Patterson's house and two boys (Casey and Joel) were fighting over you. I had no idea what was going on...because I wasn't in on the whole Soap Operah, but it was fun to watch anyway.

I remember going I think spelunking or something of the sorts and you hit a graveled corner and we went into the fence with your nice red jeep? This one is a little fuzy, but I was so scared. We were all ok though.
