Maxon has been looking forward to a choo-choo train made by Santa's elfs for a long time now and loves to play with it...by himself...which is really good because Maxon loves to be in the company of others more than toys. All morning long we heard, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can" as that happy little train rumbled over the tracks. He's hilarious! Some other things he really enjoyed were an Aqua Doodle, PlayDoh, and his very own set of pots & pans and kitchen utensils.
Evelyn mostly got clothes. Maxon wrapped up one of his old toys to give to her and she got a couple of new toys and the softest little lamb. She got a PlayDoh in her stocking just like Max because I think it is adorable when he asks her if he can play with her toys. ("Please, Sweetheart, can I share your PlayDoh with you?") I called Evelyn Sweet Pea the other day and Maxon thought it was a really funny name and laughed and laughed. Yesterday, he was talking to her and I heard him call her "Sweetheart Pea" and I laughed and laughed. When she is old enough to play with him, I think he's going to be the greatest big brother ever.
Today we talked to Grandma and Grandpa Lloyd and Derek on the webcam. Webcams are great...and families are great, too. I hope you're all having a very merry Christmas. Oh, how we miss you. We've just played and have sort of been lazy all day. I was able to shower and do my make-up and hair, which is awesome these days! I love having Jason home in the mornings. I love having Jason home!
This is what it looks like around my house right now which is why I have written 3 blog posts in a row...a little bit of an overhaul...and I think I may go and bake an apple pie. Good luck to me in finding my pre-baby figure! ha ha!
And finally, last, but not least...here is a video of Maxon thinking postively while playing with the new train that Santa brought him.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Oh I love the video! I have never really heard Maxon talk so I loved to hear his sweet little voice...and his very enthusiastic "I think I cans" He is very good at his colors too! go Maxon!
Carter has loved "Jingle Bells" this year too and I love to hear him off in another room singing it.
I can't believe how big Evelyn is getting already. She looks just like you...at least for now!
Merry Christmas!!
