I MISS YOU

Last night I sat at the table with Maxon and began to sing "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home." Max sat intrigued, looking intently up at my face while Carrie helped me through the lyrics (I have a handicap when it comes to song lyrics) and then, as I finished the song, in that tender young voice of his, he said, "Daddy, I missed you when you were in Iraq." My heart swelled as Max went on cooking Play Doh in his new stainless steel cookware. I immediated responded, "You did, Max? I missed you too, Buddy." Then he volunteered, "I miss T, and I miss Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Cleve, and I miss Grandpa and Grandma Lloyd too." Carrie and I agreed that we also missed them, and everybody else (don't worry we went down the list so as not to exclude anyone).

We just wanted you all to know that you're missed...HAPPY NEW YEAR!
