We've had some pretty low-key days. It's getting hotter- more humid than hot, I guess. Max started swimming lessons this week and will do them again next week. It's fun to watch him with the teachers and other kids and I think he's having fun.
In the afternoons we've been going over to the splash park with friends. We're just taking advantage of summer while it's here and being pretty lazy!

This is Evelyn's new sleeping preference. Jason discovered it the other night when nothing else was working. She just wants to be on the floor. (And our carpet is anything but plush!) We've been struggling with her naps because she'll just wake up as soon as I put her in her crib. This morning, I set her on the floor instead and she's been sleeping for 2 hours! Incredible!
The last couple of nights, she has slept on her little blanket "nest" and has only woken up once in the night to nurse! Then, around 6:00 a.m., she wakes up, crawls over to her door, and starts hitting it until we let her out. Whatever works!

That's just too funny that Evelyn likes the floor better. So cute!
haha...funny baby. She looks a lot like Max in that picture! Swimming lessons...good idea!! I am excited to start getting Carter involved in things! I need to get him over his Scaredy Cat phase.
What a funny trick! Will you give me the info on swimming lessons? I want to get Matthew started.
She still wakes up to nurse at night?! WOW! Brooke stopped that a long time ago. I'm glad you figured out a good solution though. Isn't the 6 AM wake up wonderful?! That's Brooke's preferred wake up time and I hate it.
Who needs to spend money on expensive nursery furniture anyway? That is funny.
My kids have trouble sleeping in the crib too. Ours has gotten remarkably little use since we bought it before Jake was born.
I don't think I ever told you that I loved the puppy cake you made. It turned out way better than I imagined!
Yeah! So glad you wrote on my blog so I could get on yours! Your little family is so cute! And Yes you are right! Navi is Nate and Laci's! John went to highschool with them and now we are great friends! Funny what a small world it is! I'll comment more when I catch up on you guys! I was just so excited to say hi! :)
Kids can be so quirky- glad you found something that works :) I am in the middle of potty training, yay for me huh.
I can't believe she likes sleeping on the floor. That is so funny. You won't have to do the whole crib to big girl bed....that is nice. Your kids are so cute.
