Light the Night

Our family team participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Light the Night" walk last Thursday.  It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed getting ready for it and doing something special for Grandma Debbie.  We even raised $100 for the society last minute from generous friends and family!

Evelyn and Max decked out for the special event.

Everyone was given a light-up balloon to "light the night".  Supporters dominated with their red balloons, but it was encouraging to see a lot of white survivor balloons as well!

After:

Way past bedtime after the walk.

Evelyn wanted her shirt to say, "I love Evelyn", so we compromised with "Love, Evelyn".

It really does.

Showing you that his sleeve says "Maxon".

We love you, Mom, and we are so proud to be your supporters.
