I guess I should get back on the old blog and share some pictures. I think Halloween may have been the last time a posted any pictures and since then we have grown and changed. A few of us anyway. One in particular is almost 1!!!
Our most recent adventure was Louisville, KY and Columbus, IN. Jason was working on a bridge that connects Indiana to Kentucky just outside of Louisville and Max was on spring break, so we came along. We actually had a really fun time. These pictures are from the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum. The giant mitt was the favorite attraction. Then we walked to a nearby children's museum that was closing in 20 minutes and they let us in for free...or we wouldn't have gone.
We had lots of fun swimming in our hotel that night and the kids were very excited. It was all a surprise to them from the moment we pulled them out of bed at 5 a.m. Hotels are wonderful when you are a child. The next morning we drove to Columbus, IN, which I didn't know existed and it was a really cool little city. It is only about as big as Twin Falls but they have a really fun downtown and they are ranked 6th or 7th in the nation for cool architecture. The Commons is a free area downtown that has this huge wooden ship with planks and nets that the kids can climb all over.
They also have a place for babies to play.
And tunnels.
Across the street is the Kids Commons which is more of a Children's Museum and one of the best we've been to. Their claim to fame is the giant toilet.
It is in a house area that shows how ordinary houses work. Insulation, attic space, secret passageways behind the bookshelf, pictures with eyes that follow you, and a giant plumbing slide that teaches you what it is like to be poop. It was so fun.

Ha. Love the toilet. Thought that you may have been swallowed up by those middle states...what are they called again- MidWest? Anyways, glad to know you are ALIVE! Phew.
I cannot imagine a more exciting thing for my boys than to pretend to be poop.
Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't your first 2 babies much fatter than little Jude? Man, he is so sweet and cute. I am loving him from way over here.
Jude is adorable! He does look so sweet exploring the play area. That sounds like a fun trip. I enjoy visiting Children's Museums wherever we go where there is one. Glad you posted...you should do it more often since I like it so much!;)
